In this post-September 11th world, I believe it is the responsibility of those of us who receive so much joy from the Middle Eastern arts (not to mention our livelihoods), to give something back to the communities we work with. We are in a unique position to educate and foster greater understanding between East and West. These pages are my very humble contribution.
